Tonight is a First Quarter Moon. Remember, a First Quarter Moon looks like a half moon.

Friday, June 14th 2019

Tonight at 7 PM is Bays Mountain’s Astronomy Club meeting. The topic is “Get That Perfect Night Sky Picture” with BMAC member Brenda Stroupe. You will learn how to capture the night sky with your camera and the best way to use your telescope and smart phone. This is the final part of the series called Newbies to Amateur Astronomy. 

Sunday, June 16th 2019 

Jupiter and the Moon will be near each other in the Southeast sky. The image below shows what to look for.
