The Storm Team 11 Forecast
Conditions will be warming up with sunshine and a SW Wind into the low 50’s Tri-Cities, staying in the 40’s in the mountains. Our next weather maker moves in Thursday afternoon, with a cloudy and mild day in the 50’s, and widespread rain expected late in the afternoon. A transition to a wintry mix will occur over the mountains Thursday evening, with a change to a wintry mix in Tri-Cities Thursday night. Accumulations will be likely in the mountains, while the delay of the colder temperatures will be the limiting factor in the Tri-Cities. Elevations over 3000 ft could see around 1 to 3 inches, while Tri-Cities around a dusting to maybe half an inch through early Friday morning. The Friday morning commute will likely be impacted in many areas.
Another weekend weather maker will move in Sunday, with a very soggy second half of the weekend. A change to snow will occur Monday morning, likely impacting the Monday morning commute.
Sunny, breezy and warmer with low 50’s Tri-Cities, 40’s in the higher elevations.
Partly cloudy and not as cold with mid to upper 20’s.
