A severe weather threat continues for the Tri-Cities area through 9 or 10 p.m. A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for eastern Kentucky. That’s where the biggest concern is. Elsewhere, damaging winds are the main threat with any storms that move through. We could see some large hail. Even a tornado or two can’t be ruled out in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. There’s a 70 percent chance of rain. Showers will continue in spots overnight with breezy winds. Low: 40.
