Storm Team 11 Weather:
There will be some stormy pockets tonight, especially through the Midnight hour. We have a 50 percent chance of rain and even have a low-end risk of severe weather tonight in much of the Tri-Cities area. That means a few spots could see small hail and gusty winds, but it isn’t a widespread concern. You can stay up-to-date on severe weather alerts by downloading the WJHL Weather App. The low will be 57 degrees.
For Monday, expect waves of rain and storms at times. We have an 80 percent chance of rain. There will be areas of heavy downpours and maybe localized flooding. A strong or severe cluster of storms can’t be ruled out. Again, we don’t have a widespread risk. 0.5-2 inches of rain is expected on average for our area. Monday’s forecast high is 72 degrees.
Rounds of rain will continue Monday night into Tuesday morning with a low of 56 degrees.
We should notice the rain coming to an end as Tuesday progresses with perhaps some sunshine later in the day. Tuesday’s high is 74.
Wednesday looks to be the brightest day of the week with temperatures close to average. After starting off in the 40s, highs will climb into the low 70s.
