Storm Team 11 Weather: Storms in spots tonight, Active week ahead

Weather

Storm Team 11 Forecast:

We will have some widely scattered storms tonight. The best chance appears to be over eastern Kentucky and southwest Virginia. Some could be on the strong or severe side. Low: 65

Some sunshine on the way Monday as we dodge rain and thunderstorms at times. This is the beginning of a fairly wet week. There is a 60 percent chance of rain. A few storms could pack very heavy rain and damaging winds, especially during the afternoon and evening. High: 85

There’s an even better chance of rain and storms Tuesday as of now. Once again, a few could be strong or severe. Localized flooding is possible. High: 82

Not a whole lot of change to the overall pattern through Thursday as bouts of rain and thunderstorms continue. Indications point to less in the way of storms starting Friday, but stay tuned!

Take care,
