Storm Team 11 Weather: Rain returns Monday, few thunderstorms possible

Storm Team 11 Forecast:

We will introduce some changes to the forecast for the first part of the work week. Cloudy skies and showers will be likely Monday with even a few thunderstorms not out of the question ahead of a cold front. Rain will likely continue in spots through Monday evening before it moves out by Tuesday morning. The first half of the week will be quite a bit cooler. We’ll have a nice warming trend starting Wednesday with dry weather as well.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a few showers around. Chance of rain: 20%. Low: 45

Monday: Overcast skies with rain likely at times. Chance of rain: 80%. Rainfall totals will generally be anywhere from 1/3 to 3/4 inch. A couple thunderstorms are possible, especially later in the afternoon or evening. One or two spots could see a stronger storm with some small hail or a 40 mph wind gust, but we’re not concerned about a severe weather threat. High: 60

Monday night: Evening showers and a few storms will mainly come to an end overnight. Low: 39

Tuesday: Maybe a shower before sunrise. Otherwise, mostly cloudy and cooler. High: 55

Take care,
