Our next weather maker will bring in widespread rain, with a possible heavy rain threat in the mountains. Strong downsloping will limit heavy rain potential in the Tri-Cities on Friday, while W. N.C. has the potential for higher rain amounts. High rain rates along with melting snow could easily lead to flooding conditions.
