After some brief cloudiness, expect a mostly sunny sky this afternoon along with a very seasonable day with mid to upper 70’s in Tri-Cities, 60’s in the mountains.
An isolated storm threat returns Friday with a disturbance approaching from the north. An isolated storm threat continues into the weekend with a few storms growing over the mountains during the heating of the day. Storm threat will be higher over the Blue Ridge, while Tri-Cities can expect much less of a rain threat over the weekend.
With high pressure in control, the sunny and increasingly hot and humid days means a perfect summer feel to the weekend.
