THE STORM TEAM 11 FORECAST
Our persistent weather pattern means little change today, with more summer heat and humidity and just a few spotty showers and storms. Showers will be possible earlier in the afternoon over the mountains, while Tri-Cities could see an isolated storm into early this evening.
An approaching cold front Thursday looks to weaken as it moves towards the Tri-Cities. Rain and storms should become a little more widespread Thursday, but certainly not a washout. Despite the higher chance for rain, the best time will be afternoon and evening. Rain chances lessen for Friday, with a chance for a few scattered showers and storms Friday.
Labor Day weekend will remain hot and humid with a few scattered afternoon showers and storms, but overall, the unofficial end to summer.
Mostly sunny, hot and humid with isolated showers and storms, temperatures near 90 Tri-Cities, low 80’s in the higher elevations.
Fair and humid with areas of fog late, temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s.
Scattered showers and storms with temperatures in the mid 80’s.
