Welcome to the 67th edition of StormTeam 11 Starwatch! This is a blog that will be posted weekly that will list events happening in the sky this week! 

Wednesday, March 27th 2019

This morning the Moon and Jupiter will be about 4 degrees apart in the sky! The image below shows what to look for. 

Thursday, March 28th 2019

Tonight is the Last Quarter Moon. Half of the moon will be illuminated tonight. 

Friday, March 29th 2019 

This morning the Moon and Saturn will be about 2.75 degrees apart in the sky. The image below shows what the sky will look like. 

Saturday, March 30th 2019

Tonight is Bays Mountain’s StarWatch program. You can come view the night sky with large telescopes for free! The event begins at dusk.

Also this evening, Mars and the open star cluster Pleiades are a little more than 3 degrees apart.
