After a cold start to the month of April, temperatures are gradually warming this afternoon, but don’t expect a huge warm-up today despite the sunshine. A more substantial warm-up is coming mid-week thanks to more sunshine and a persistent south wind.
Our next rainmaker arrives Friday with scattered showers during the day. Temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend with temperatures approaching the mid 70’s. A few scattered showers possible late Sunday, but overall the majority of the weekend looks good.
Afternoon: Partly cloudy and cool with mid 50’s Tri-Cities, mid to upper 40’s in the mountains.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with chilly upper 20’s to low 30’s.
