Temperature readings this morning are mild in the low 50s across the Tri-Cities. Today is going to be a warm day with highs in the low to mid 70s! Expect to see plenty of cloud cover today with a few breaks of sunshine this afternoon. There is a slight chance for a stray shower today as well.
Tonight’s low drops down to 51 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.
Sunday is trending warm for race fans with a high of 77 degrees. There is a 50% chance for scattered showers and storms tomorrow. Tomorrow is not a washout, but rather it looks like there will be a round of showers and an isolated storm during the morning hours, followed by some midday clearing. During the afternoon as temperature readings get close to the 80 degree mark, pop-up showers and thunderstorms will return. A few of these storms could be on the strong to severe side, with gusty winds and even some small sized hail possible. Stay with Storm Team 11 as we track this storm potential.
