Storm Team 11 Forecast:
Much of our area is waking up to rain this morning. There is an 80% rain chance in the forecast today with scattered showers and storms likely. Part of the Tri-Cities area is under a marginal risk for severe weather today. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible with heavy downpours, damaging winds and hail being the main threats. Be alert for localized flooding today as well, as an additional inch of rainfall is possible through tomorrow. Remember, never drive through flooded roadways!
Tonight we will hold onto a 50% chance for scattered showers and a few storms early. We will begin to dry out overnight with a low of 52 degrees.
There is still a 40% chance for light scattered showers tomorrow with mostly cloudy skies. It will feel cooler tomorrow with highs in the mid 60s.
Breaks of sunshine return for Tuesday with a high of 66 degrees.
A few scattered showers and storms could be around Thursday and Saturday, otherwise the rest of the forecast is looking drier! We will also warm back up into the 70s and even low 80s by the end of the period.
