A few of these storms could be on the strong to severe side, even though only a small portion of our area (part of Buchanan, Tazewell, Smyth and Wythe counties) are under a marginal or level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather today. The biggest threats with these storms will be heavy downpours, damaging winds and hail. Stay alert later today!

Monday is our coolest day on the 7-day forecast with a high of 84 degrees. Expect to see a little more cloud cover tomorrow with a 50% chance for showers and storms.
