There is a 30% chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms today, with rain more likely late this afternoon and tonight. Tonight’s rain chance increases to 50% and a few of these storms could be on the strong to even severe side. The main threats would be locally heavy downpours, damaging winds and small sized hail. Tonight’s low is 66 degrees.
We will enter into a wet pattern beginning tomorrow. There is a 60% rain chance tomorrow with showers and storms likely. Part of our area is under a marginal or level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather tomorrow. Again damaging winds and hail will be possible. Monday is not looking like a washout, but rather late in the day is when we will see our best chance for rain and storms.
There is a 70% rain chance on Tuesday as well and our entire area is under a marginal risk for severe weather Tuesday. Tuesday’s high is 83 degrees.
By Friday and Saturday some models are trying to dry us out with a return of some sun.
Stay with us as we monitor this unsettled pattern!
Have a great day and Happy Father’s Day!
