Washington County, Va. board of supervisors hold discussion on relocating courthouse


During an open discussion at the Washington County, Virginia Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday, the possibility of relocating the county courthouse was discussed. 

Supervisors heard three options, one of which includes renovating the former K-Mart building in Abingdon. 

County Administrator Jason Berry says Bristol, Tennessee based public relations firm Corporate Image will assist the city engaging with residents to gauge feedback for the project.
