The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton (TCAT) has a new car for students to hone their automotive craft thanks to a donation from Toyota of Bristol.

Toyota of Bristol donated a Camry to the school in a presentation Wednesday, according to a release.

Automotive instructor and ASE Certified Master Technician at TCAT Elizabethton Jackie Lingston accepted the keys from Chris Guy, service manager, Mike Rodefer, general manager, and Kyle Whitaker, Toyota Motor North America.

The automotive technology program at TCAT Elizabethton can be completed in 20 months and provides occupational and retraining for the automotive service industry.

All eight areas of the program at TCAT Elizabethton are certified by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation.
