Sullivan County’s ‘Operation Compliance’ shows eight sex offenders not in compliance


Safety for children a prime responsible for Sullivan County, Tennessee, police.  

The department conducted Operation Compliance toward all registered sex offered monitored by police.  

Police say they monitor 121 registered sex offenders and say possibly eight offenders were not in compliance with rules. Violations recorded will be presented to the county’s grand jury.  

During the operation, detectives went to each of the registered sex offender’s home to make sure they follow the law.  

Police say they will continue to conduct these operations to address any issues that affect citizens.
