Police have arrested a Kingsport man after he allegedly held a woman against her will for several days.
According the report from Kingsport Police, Deshawn Bellamy, 31, is charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault.
The victim told officers Bellamy held her captive at the Super 8 Motel on Lynn Garden Drive for the past two days.
The woman told officers that when she tried to leave, Bellamy assaulted her and held her at gunpoint.
According to the report, the woman said Bellamy dragged her into his car, putting her in the backseat with the child lock safety on to prevent her from getting out.
The woman was able to jump out a window and get away.
Investigators later found blood stained linens and blood on the walls of the hotel room the victim was allegedly held captive.
The woman was taken to Holston Valley Medical Center for treatment.
After further investigation, officers realized the woman gave them the wrong name.
According to the police report, Cierra Long was arrested for violation probation. She was also charged with filing a false report and criminal impersonation.
