Lindy White promoted to president of Ballad’s northwest market

Ballad Health has announced that Lindy White has been promoted to president of the health system’s northwest market.

White, who currently serves as chief executive officer of Ballad’s two Kingsport hospitals, will be in charge of Holston Valley Medical Center, Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, Hancock County Hospital, Indian Path Community Hospital, Lonesome Pine Hospital, Mountain View Regional Hospital, Norton Community Hospital, Dickenson Community Hospital, and the Lee County hospital Ballad is working to reopen.

She will replace Monty McLaurin, who has decided to retire at the end of the year after a career that includes 15 years in Kingsport. White will start her new position on June 1.

White owns a farm in Gate City. She was born at Smyth County Hospital, where she began her healthcare career as a staff accountant in 1992.
