Deputies say a Johnson City man faces charges after he reportedly drove under the influence with a teenager in his vehicle, then attempted to hide under trash.
Jordan Reece, 22, faces charges of DUI with a child in the vehicle, felony evading arrest and reckless endangerment.
According to investigators, officers attempted to stop Reece early this morning in Johnson City.
Johnson City Police Department deputies were able to follow Reece until he parked his car and ran away.
Investigators say Reece left two passengers, one being a 16-year-old girl.
Police say one of the passengers was able to bring the vehicle to a complete stop after Reece left the scene.
After searching the area, Reece was discovered in a dumpster two blocks from the scene.
Reece is being held on a $25,000 bond.
