Hundreds gathered in Founders Park on Sunday to raise awareness for a great cause.
The annual JDRF One Walk was able to kick off today in Johnson City as people walked to raise awareness for Type 1 diabetes.
According to the JDRF website, “Our research investments deliver on the promise of making life with T1D better. We’ve championed technology with that goal in mind, from the first engineered insulin 40 years ago to recent advancements like artificial pancreas systems and more.”
News Channel 11 will have more on today’s walk starting tonight at 6 p.m. and again at 11 p.m.
