Prom season is right around the corner for high school students.
As a way to help prepare for the season, Hampton High School is holding their annual senior class yard sale Friday, April 26 from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 27 from 8 am – 3 pm, and there’s a possibility of Sunday 1-3, held in the school’s gymnasium
According to school officials, the yard sale is held to raise funds to offset costs of the prom itself and to help students be able to lessen the high prices of their prom and senior year.
The items that do not sale are given to local families, churches, or charities who have a need for it, officials tell News Channel 11.
One of the charities the school plan’s to donate to this year is Haven of Mercy.

We usually give to them each year, but this year especially since the fire.
In the past, the school has also donated to Lynn Valley Baptist Church clothes closet, Recovering Warriors, and to Union Baptist Church’s mission trip project.
The HHS greenhouse will be open to the public to sell plants, vegetables, and flowers.
