Greeneville woman pleads guilty in connection to death of her 2 daughters

The Greeneville woman whose two baby girls were allegedly killed by her boyfriend has pleaded guilty to neglecting and endangering them.

According to the Greene County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Kendra Tweed pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of facilitation of aggravated child neglect and two counts of facilitating child endangerment.

The judge sentenced her to 30 years at 30% in jail for each count, which will run concurrently.

On December 17, 2014, Greeneville Police said they found Kynsleigh Easterly, 13 months old, and Trinity Jones, 2 months-old dead inside their home on North Hardin Street.

Erick Jones, Tweed’s boyfriend, was found guilty last year of facilitation of 1st-degree murder. He was sentenced to 50 years in jail.
