Greeneville Chick-fil-a plans receive approval

The town of Greeneville is one step closer to getting its own Chick-fil-a restaurant.

Right now, the Chick-fil-a that’s part of Tusculum University’s meal services is the only Chick-fil-a in the county.

According to city planning director Logan Engle, the Planning Commission approved preliminary plans presented by the developer at a Tuesday morning meeting.

Engle told News Channel 11 that now the engineer for the project must submit a final site plan package to the city. The planning office will then give final approval, or ask for changes to be made if needed.

Engle said there is not a deadline that those plans must be submitted by.
