Work continues on giving a facelift to the original site of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Elizabethton campus for Kubota Technician certification training, scheduled to take place later this year.

Classes will soon be taught there for interested students.

The Community Service Group of the Tennessee Department of Corrections are painting walls, placing baseboards and otherwise sprucing up the facility for the Kubota training.

Kubota dealers and friends participated in the launch of an NC3-enabled Kubota Tech Certification Program at TCAT – Elizabethton on Oct. 30.

“The certification program equips students with the knowledge and fundamental skills to meet the demand for the growing need of Kubota technicians. The Kubota Tech curriculum will be integrated into TCAT – Elizabethton’s general diesel program,” said John Lee, NC3 Industry Training Coordinator at TCAT – Elizabethton.
