Elizabethton woman facing several charges after several alleged drugs found during search

While executing a search warrant on a vehicle, officers with the Elizabethton Police Department found several items they say are consistent with drugs and thousands of dollars in cash. 

Police executed the warrant at 135 West Elk Avenue on a vehicle belonging to an employee Tuesday, according to a release. 

During the search, officers found a bag with 67.02 grams of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, a bag containing 15 and a half pills later determined to be Alprazolam, a bag containing a brown powdery substance consistent with the appearance of heroin, several bags, three pre-paid credit cards and $3,858 cash. 

The owner of the vehicle, Taylor Crowe, is facing several charges including possession of methamphetamine for resale and schedule 1 drugs violations for resale.
