BUCHANAN COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – A Buchanan County judge has sentenced a West Virginia man to 14 years behind bars on child porn charges.

Jamie Grant Castle of Fort Gay, W.V., fled to Colorado but was captured by authorities in 2017.

At the time of Castle’s arrest, Buchanan County Sheriff Ray Foster said Castle was wanted on over 150 counts of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Foster said Castle has been on the run since 2010 and has altered his identity to avoid capture.

According to court records, will serve 14 years consecutively for 25 felonies.

Court records show the case went to trial but Gay entered a “nolo contendere” plea.

The plea means Castle accepts conviction as though a guilty plea had been entered but he does not admit guilt.
