BMS RACE WEEK: What you need to know

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL)- Race fans have already started making their way to the world’s fastest half mile ahead of the Food City 500 on Sunday.

There are several changes coming to race week this year.

TICKETS: This year the track is offering teen pricing, which means anyone ages 13-19 can get 50% off any regular priced grandstand ticket. 

BMS FUN SQUAD: This year officials at the track said they will have Speedway ambassadors on hand to hand out prizes during stage breaks, and cautions. 

HALF-MILE HANGOUT: Bristol Motor Speedway will be adding lounge areas where fans can sit, charge their phones at stations, and enjoy games, and craft beer. 

The gathering will continue to grow throughout the week leading up to Sunday when the World’s Fastest Half-Mile comes to life with roaring engines and cheering crowds.
