The Sullivan County Fire Department tells News Channel 11 that trailer was destroyed during a fire today in Blountville.
According to Sullivan County VFD Chief Jud Jonas, their department responded to the fire on Old Airport Road, where a trailer was already 50 percent engulfed.
Jonas says crews were able to knock out the fire, but the home is a total loss.
Jonas adds there were no injuries from the fire and that the Red Cross was called to assist.
According to a preliminary report, the cause for the fire is suspected to be an electrical issue.
Avoca Fire Department also responded to the scene.
