Seattle announced Smith, 32, has been listed as questionable to return after getting tackled from behind by Giants linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
A Smith scramble toward New York’s sideline led to the QB being dragged down by Simmons. The tackle ended with Simmons landing directly on the back of Smith's legs. Upon standing, Smith displayed a noticeable limp as he walked to Seattle’s bench, where he briefly stood before coming back on the field and getting into a shouting match with Giants safety Xavier McKinney over the hit.
Smith left the game for the medical tent and was eventually carted to the locker room for an X-ray, leaving backup Drew Lock to lead the Seahawks in relief.
With his status still unknown, it remains to be seen if Smith will return to the contest in the second half with Seattle’s bye set for Week 5.
Smith, in limited action, completed nine of his 11 pass attempts for 67 yards and a touchdown prior to exiting.
