NASCAR driver Erik Jones claims Bristol reminds him of hometown tracks

One of NASCAR’s top young guns is already in town for this weekends race at the Bristol Motor speedway.

Erik Jones driver of the no. 20 “racing for a miracle” Toyota for Joe Gibbs was in town this morning for the Niswonger children’s hospital.
Jones already has a victory at Bristol when he took the checkered flag in the Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 last season.
Jones calls Bristol one of his favorite tracks because it reminds him of home.

“It became one of top places a few years ago when I stared coming here on the Xfinity series and it’s just a place where I feel comfortable brings me back to kind of what I raced growing up late model and such on the short tracks up around the Midwest and being able to bring some of that stuff over even from the cup series that I have been for a long time it’s just a place I feel super comfortable fell like I really know what I need out of the race car feel like we have had some real good race cars there and some opportunties to win in the cup series so it’s just been a place I feel super comfortable at.”
