NASCAR and NHRA participate in Family Feud competition for the 2018 BMS season preview

I wouldn’t call them the Hatfields or McCoys, but racings version of the Family Feud took place tonight at the Bass Pro shop in Bristol.
On one side you had the Richard Childress family against the racing stable of Don Schumacher

“Good luck… The way she said that…She shakes hands better than Danica and I like that (laughter) Danica tries to shake hard.”
“Name an item that would be in a race car drivers locker…beer…(laughter)”

Fun was had by all including the star studded line up of drivers who also signed autographs and took pictures with the hundreds of fans that attended.
Racing returns to BMS in April for the Food City 500 and then again for fathers day weekend for the NHRA drivers.
Clearly one of the fan favorites was Austin Dillon, this years Daytona 500 winner who joined me live at 6 today to talk about winning at Daytona in the #3.

“20 years prior to me winning I was standing in victory lane with Dale Sr. and I didn’t know what was going on at the time I knew everybody was happy we were doing a lot around it and too look back today if I could write my self a letter to stay focused you might have this same opportunity some day and we made it happen.”
