Adam Humphries has made the most of his opportunities going from an undrafted free agent out of Clemson to recording over 800 receiving yards for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018.
Following this breakout season, the Titans signed the wideout to a four-year, $36 million contract. Humphries might be on a new team, but his experience will be crucial for a wide receiving group that features plenty of young talent.
“This is the first time I’ve been the most veteran guy and it’s a different feeling because I’m learning at the same time, trying to learn how things are run here,” Humphries said. “I’m trying to learn how this offense needs to be ran and as a new guys it’s kind of hard to establish yourself as a leader and all that, but I just stick to my work ethics, stick to how I’ve handled by business the past four years in the NFL and hopefully guys will tag along and continue to work hard and we’ll all improve together as a group.”
The Titans preseason kicks off on August 8 at Philadelphia, while the regular season starts on September 8 at Cleveland.
