(WJHL) — News Channel 11 has a special edition of Friday Morning Kickoff to look back at the season.
Starting with Daniel Boone High School, which was featured on the first episode of Friday Morning Kickoff in 2014.
A staple for every season, a trip to Sullivan East High School. It was a foggy morning on Sept. 8, but not as foggy as in previous years.
Up next is the South Greene High School Marching Band showing off their school spirit.
Volunteer High School was the first school featured in the 2023 Friday Morning Kickoff season.
Due to severe weather around the area on Oct. 19, News Channel 11 did a rare Thursday Morning Kickoff inside the Unicoi County School gym. This marked Kasey Marler’s last newscast for Friday Morning Kickoff.
Every Friday morning during high school football season, News Channel 11 started the day with a pep rally featuring high school football bands of the week.
