Greeneville football team focused on repeating as Class 4-A state champions

Greeneville, TN -      The road to another championship got underway on Monday for the Greeneville Greene Devils.

The Greene Devils are hoping to make it back to back state championships for the second time in school history and 4th overall title in program history.
Led by quarterback Cade Ballard, the class 4-A player of the year, which goes to the state's top player.
The Greene Devils basically return everyone after graduating only 10, but don't expect this team that's loaded with D-one talent to be over confident.

"It's kind of a different road this time because you know you are defending your crown this year last year we were chasing it so we know everything in 4-A across the state of Tennessee is gunning for us we wouldn't have it any other way as a football team."
"We are a real humble team I'd say we know what we got to do and go out and do it every game."
"We got a great bunch of seniors who seem to be very hungry to go out and do it again and great leadership takes care of a lot of things and I think we've got that."
