Food City Family Race Night at Bristol Motor Speedway opened up the Food City 500 weekend.

For some people like Valerie Hausauer, who’s from Kingsport, Bristol is their happy place. She came to meet the drivers and get autographs. Hausauer comes to Bristol every year whether she has tickets or not.

“I want to get Joey Gase and Landon Castle. They’re so good to their fans. I love Bristol,” she said.

For some, it was their first time at the track. Jackson Norton and Dylan Johnson came with a whole group of friends. They’re staying for the entire weekend to enjoy what Bristol Motor Speedway has to offer.

“It’s my first time at Bristol and I’m ready to go,” said Norton.

I’m staying all three days [and] all three races. I’m going to love every second of it. It’s awesome here and I ain’t leaving,” laughs Johnson.
