The No. 21 ETSU Buccaneers will try to extend their five game win streak Saturday when they travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on the No. 12 Wofford Terriers.
The Bucs lead the Southern Conference with a 6-1 overall record and 4-0 conference record. It is ETSU’s best start to a season since 1996.
The Bucs are coming off a 26-23 victory over The Citadel last weekend.

Clear bag policy
Wofford has implemented a clear bag policy at Gibbs Stadium. Fans will be permitted to enter with a clear bag that does not exceed 12″ in height by 6″ in depth by 12″ in width. A simple one-gallon clear plastic bag, such as a Ziploc bag or similar, is acceptable. Fans will be allowed to carry in a small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand or 4.5″ by 6.5″, with or without a handle or strap. The Terriers are defending Southern Conference champions. They went 7-1 against conference opponents last season.
This season so far, Wofford is 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference. The Terriers beat The Citadel 28-21, VMI 59-14, Gardner-Webb 45-14, and Chattanooga 21-10. They lost to Furman 14-34.
They have yet to lose a game at home this season.
ETSU and Wofford have played five common opponents this season (Citadel, Furman, Chattanooga, Gardner-Webb, and VMI). The Bucs are 5-0 against those teams, while the Terriers are 4-1.
Last year, Wofford beat ETSU 31-24 in Johnson City. In 2016, they shut out the Bucs 31-0.
