The field of 62 teams will be split into 16 regionals with 14 four-team sites and two three-team sites. Tournament action for the Atlanta Regional will begin on Friday, May 10 continuing through Sunday, May 12 at Emory University’s Cooper Field.
E&H will take on regional host Emory University in the first round. The other side of the regional sees USA South Athletic Conference runner-up Piedmont College facing Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference champion.
E&H carries a 26-16 record into national tournament play after finishing second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference regular season (14-6) and fourth in the ODAC Tournament.
Other teams from the league earning a bid into the tournament are two-time defending National Champion Virginia Wesleyan University, University of Lynchburg and Randolph-Macon College.
