WISE COUNTY, VA (WJHL) –  A Big Stone Gap police officer has been suspended without pay after he was arrested on several charges of sexual assault.

Virginia State Police confirmed state troopers arrested 31-year-old Oliver Mullins, of Pound, VA, on June 17 after a two-month investigation.

Mullins faces three counts of rape, three counts of incest, forcible sodomy, grooming, 20 counts of indecent liberties and 20 counts of aggravated sexual battery.
