Two N.Y. women charged with using cloned credit cards at Tri-Cities stores

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) – Johnson City Police Department officers arrested two women on multiple charges including identity theft and criminal simulation.

According to a JCPD news release, Kamara Fagan Osbourne, 23, of Freeport, N.Y., and Cheyenne Nembhard, 22, of Westbury, N.Y., used cloned credit cards to buy items at Petsmart and TJ Maxx in Johnson City on July 17.

Osbourne and Nembhard were arrested in Kingsport by Kingsport Police Department officers later that day for the same offenses.

According to the release, Osbourne and Nembhard were charged with four counts of identity theft, three counts of criminal simulation over $500 and one count of criminal simulation over $1,000.

On Tuesday, Osbourne and Nembhard were released from the Sullivan County Detention Center and were taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where each were being held on $90,000 bond.

Both women were scheduled to be arraigned in Sessions Court on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.Copyright 2016 WJHL. All rights reserved.
