WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A West Haven man, who had a dying wish of receiving a phone call from President Trump be granted, has died
Jay Barrett, 44, who had cystic fibrosis and was told that he only had six months to live, passed away overnight on Wednesday.
Barrett’s sister confirmed his passing.

Barrett was a strong supporter of President Trump and received a phone call from the President earlier in the month.
A member of President Trump’s administration later visited Barrett and presented him with a signed gift.
