Suspect in woman’s murder, Amber Alert back in Knoxville


KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The man arrested in Ohio after police say he murdered his ex-wife and kidnapped their daughter is now back in Knoxville.

The Knoxville Police Department says Tyler Enix was booked into the Knox County Detention Facility just before 11 p.m. Thursday.Previous story: Knoxville mom of Amber Alert toddler stabbed

Enix was arrested in Morrow County, Ohio, after resident Steve Adams spotted his vehicle after hearing about the Amber Alert for his daughter Brooklynne.

Enix is now charged with the murder of his ex-wife Kimberly, the mother of Brooklynne. Officers found the body of Kimberly Enix at her home in Fountain City on October 28.

The Tennessee Department of Child Services said Brooklynne Enix is living with a foster family in Tennessee.
