BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) – Bristol, Va. Police Department officers arrested six people on charges of solicitation of prostitution.

According to a BVAPD news release, the arrests were a result of undercover detectives responding to ads on Craigslist.

All six people arrested were released on a summons for charges of solicitation of prostitution.

The following were the individuals arrested:

Billy J. Cross, 63, of Bluff City, was arrested on Sept. 15.

Jeffrey S. Blevins, 49, of Abingdon, Va., was arrested on Sept. 20.

Adam E. Kneisley, 36, of Johnson City, was arrested on Sept. 21.

Joseph E. Puckett, 63, of Abingdon, Va., was arrested on Sept. 23.

Michael J. Taylor, 45, of Elizabethton, was arrested on Sept. 24.

Cross, Blevins, Kneisley, Puckett and Taylor were scheduled to be in court on Oct. 6.

Randy L. Osborne, 42, of Abingdon, Va., was arrested on Sept. 26.

According to Virginia State Police spokeperson Corinne Geller,  Osborne is a VSP trooper. Geller said Osborne has been placed on suspended leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
