UPDATE: Missing 12-year-old Rockwood boy found safe

Rockwood, Tenn. (WATE) – A missing 12-year-old from Rockwood has been found safe, according to the TBI.

James Thomas was reported missing Saturday morning after he was last seen walking home from a friend’s house on Friday night. 

He was reported as an endangered child since he has medical issues and was without his medication. 


The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an endangered child alert for a missing 12-year-old boy from Rockwood, Tennessee. 

According to the TBI, James Thomas was last seen walking home from a friend’s house on Friday. The TBI says Thomas has medical issues and does not have his medication with him. He was wearing a blue shirt and black and white shoes when he was last seen.

Thomas is described as being around 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
