Tennessee House tables Medical Cannabis Act until 2020

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Tennesseans wanting medical cannabis this year will have to wait.

The tabling of the bill was part of a hectic day at Tennesee’s State Capitol.

Word came late Wednesday that the bill that would potentially allow Tennesseans to use oil-based forms of cannabis was once again withdrawn from this year’s legislative agenda.

One of the bill’s sponsors, Sen. Steve Dickerson told News 2 that the measure will be back on the table next year.
