Remote Area Medical founder Stan Brock dies at 82

Remote Area Medical founder Stan Brock died Wednesday at the age of 82, the organization announced.

Brock started RAM in 1985 and since then, they have provided free medical, dental and vision care to more than 740,000 people.

A celebration of life in Brock’s honor is planned within the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, Brock requested that donations be sent to Remote Area Medical in his memory.
