Myrtle Beach curfew for teens will be enforced, city tweets

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Anyone under the age of 17 must be off the streets of Myrtle Beach at midnight, with some exceptions, or face penalties.

The City of Myrtle Beach tweeted on Wednesday that authorities will enforce a juvenile curfew.

The curfew begins at 12 a.m. and ends at 6 a.m.

Penalties for violating the curfew can be as much as $500 and/or three days in jail.

Parents can be charged as well.
