STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Director of Schools in Stewart County was arrested Tuesday night on a DUI charge.
Leta Joiner, 57, was booked into the Stewart County jail at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and bonded out around 9:45 p.m.
The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Joiner is the county’s Director of Schools.
According to an arrest affidavit, a THP trooper states Joiner “admitted to consuming medication prior to driving.”
She also refused consent for a blood draw, the paperwork shows.

An initial court appearance was set for May 28.
