A Monroe County woman is behind bars Tuesday after she was caught selling painkillers she received using Tenncare.

Brenda Lou McNabb, 51, is now charged with one count of Tenncare fraud and two counts of sale and delivery of a schedule 2 controlled substance.

Investigators said McNabb obtained two separate hydrocodone prescriptions and was caught selling some of the pills to an informant.

If found guilty, McNabb could face up to four years in prison for Tenncare fraud and another six years for selling the painkillers.
